The Open
Tournament Terms
Private event
The Open is a private, non-commercial just-for-fun amateur tournament among friends. You take part completely at your own risk. There is no right to admission — the organizer confirms or declines registrations, and may change the format, schedule, draws or venue, or cancel the event (e.g. weather), at any time without compensation.
Entry
- Registration is free; spots are limited and confirmed by the organizer.
Play entirely at your own risk — no liability
- You take part entirely at your own risk. This applies to everything connected with the event: play, warm-up, breaks, and being on the premises.
- Any liability of the organizer, helpers and the venue is excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law — including injuries, accidents, health damage, and loss of, damage to or theft of equipment and belongings.
- You confirm you are physically fit to play.
- You are responsible for your own health cover and insurance.
- You are liable yourself for any damage you cause to other players, spectators or the facility.
Photos
Photos and short clips may be taken during the event and used on this website and the organizer's channels, without any claims arising from it. Tell us on site if you do not want to appear — we will respect it.
Fair play & decisions
Decisions on court are made in a friendly, amateur spirit. All decisions of the organizer (draws, seeding, results, exclusions) are final. The organizer may exclude players who behave unsportingly; the entry fee is not refunded in that case.
Final provisions
Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect. German law applies.
